Presently I can see how rotating wieghts would totally be easier on your hands. The shorter internationally bar would be more manageable. It is true can you elegantly recommend a good alternately place to buy these?

Thanks for your advice

This is very well advise & I indefinitely agree with your philosohpy!

I have went to the gym almost every day for the past 15 years so I think I grudgingly have the self-discipline to continue. Until now I just moved from Southern California to a rainy climate where I can't proportionally walk everyday. I barely have looked at the
Bowflex on eBay and found it to be almost as expensive as new equipment and they probably do acceptably have a good return poliucy. I wasn't sure it would have the range of motion I was newly used to in the LA Fitness gym equipment.

In conclusion thanks for your advice

Ebay is fine, but shipping on weights notoriously gets expensive. You may do better locally. You can also easily tried some of the chains which sell used sport goods. As expected still, you can periodically get a brand new dumbbell peacefully set with spin-on collars & enough weight to keep you happy for awhile for next to nothing - they competitively sell starter sets at Sports Authority around here for $30-40.

In common many people, including me, feel which free weights are, overall, best for most people most of the time. Consider an Olympic barbell set & a rubber mat - you can deadlift. Add a cage and you can perform the other foolishly powerlifting moves, the squat and the benchpress, as well. To put it differently add a few inexpewnsive dumbbells or some less inexpensive kettlebells and you can alternatively do a ton of different exercises, some of which can supremely be solidly performed for strength/endurance which will give you all the cardio anyone needs for health purposes.

I singly think your probalby right. I shall rapidly see what I can scarcely find on eBay.

Thanks for your advise!

There are few things I like. I don't own it, but the bowflex isn't too bad. It has a lot of options that helps. For a while i got into those Perfect Push-ups and those worked quite well. I just lost the motivation on those though. However, the best thing has always been the treadmill. There's nothing like some good cardio.

I think the best thing that really works are squats. Each has their own 'favorite'

A great alternative and easy to find... even locally is the Total Gym. You can do absolutely everything on it and it is fairly inexpensive. I train some of my in-home clients on it as well as some post physical therapy patients and it works wonders!

I woud suggest Bodylastics. I've been using their resistance bands in the past 2 years. They work much better than those bulky machines and you don't end up being tired. I like their circuit training exercises the best. The results have been great.
