When you miss a workout does it make you so guilty you also fall of the diet wagon? I know you should just get up and keep going after, but how?

I work hard on those guilt feelings. I know it brings me down and sends me running to the kitchen. I can say I almost brainwash myself with the fact that things happen, not everything can be controlled all the time. I remind myself that I've been good most the time and I keep getting closer to my goal. It doesn't always help but it's getting better since I've noticed that when I scold myself it depresses me and I tend to give up. I work hard on treating myself better.
