What type of desserts can you eat on the HCG diet? What type of desserts can you eat on the HCG diet?
I haven't found many real dessert recipes for the HCG diet, considering the foods you are actually allowed to consume. With that being said...
Have you tried different flavored stevia?
Try a cup of coffee with chocolate stevia and put into the freezer until it turns into a slushy! (I also do this with my "shake".
Another would be to do like a natural lemonade (water, juice of 2 lemons, 1 sliced strawberry, stevia to taste) and turn it into a slushy.
If you have a food processor (I love my magic bullet) you could also do your fruit as a puree with a Melba toast or make popsicles with it!
I hope you find what you are looking for, generally the sweets are what got us in trouble in the first place. Finding healthy alternatives is a great idea!!
3-4 strawberries, sliced
3 tsp Splenda or stevia separated
1 tbs cottage cheese (I blend in my food processor until smooth)
1/4 tsp imitation vanilla
1 melba toast or wasa bread (I use light and crispy wasa)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
A little water (less then 1/4 cup)
Crush the wasa/melba toast until fine powder. Add in cinnamon and 1 tsp splenda/stevia. Put powder in a small 8 oz dish. In a separate bowl add strawberries, 1 tsp splenda/stevia and a little water and mix. Add strawberries on top of powder in dish and drizzle with the liquid in the bottom of the bowl. In another dish mix cottage cheese, 1 tsp splenda/stevia and imitation vanilla until smooth like whipped cream. Dollop onto top of strawberries.
This seems like a lot of work but wwhen you have a sweet tooth nothing is better
