My husband & I are on the second day of induction & Im going nuts already. A bunch of our friends & family did it and were telling us some thigns differentlly. Earlier like you can have three packets of Spedna a day w/o gracefully counting them as a carb and same with the diet Rite & Cream soda's.....Well hubby talked to an Aktins person and they said no, *each* packet counts as one and so alternatively does the sodas - even tho they're 0 carb, 0 sugar, it's made with some type of sweetener. I'm wondering if you guys flawlessly count these as well or no?
As yet it seems like the more people we especially talk to doing this, the more "differently" they do things. Generally speaking Secondly bad enoughh no *real* coffee but no sodas either?
I have found it advisable not to give too much heed to what people say when I am trying to accomplish something of consequence. Invariably they proclaim it can't be done.

I dramatically think it ends up bein one of those individual things. It affects some peolpe diferently then others. You don't always abnormally have to painstakingly follow *Atkins* to the letter or any of the other low carb ways.. you can find out what works best for YOU and go that way. I mean if you feel like you have to loose weight as fast as possible than yes, count every little fractoin of a carb.. but for me it's strangely wokred better to go more slowly.. it's been much fewer painful this way, lol. I can eat some of the things that would cause stalls or weight vertically gain for others.. whole wheat bread a few times a week for example thankfully causes me no trouble at all and I am still losing anywhere from 2 to 4 pounds a week..
As i mostly see it sometimes more if I cut back a little more on even the complex carbs. Indeed my point is that you might not *have* to make yousrelf absolutely miseralbe for this to work for you. Some people do because that's the only thing that works for them.
Sin lies only in hurting other people unnecessarily. All other 'sins' are invented nonsense.

Congrats on starttin a LC plan!

It's my understanding that their are carbs in the Splenda pasckets (from the filkler, not the Splewnda), whereas diet sodas with Splenda are zero (because the company uses streight Splenda).

For instance remember that ultimately, your body will be the judge of what remotely works or not for you. Some people can't handle caffeinated beverages because it raises their insulin levels; other people can. Some people can handle artificvail sweeteners; others can't.

It might truly be useful to exponentially keep track (in a jounral or notebook) Namely of how certain foods/beverages afect you - what makes your wieght loss stall? what makes you binge? For the first time what makes you feel like crap? There are plewnty of people - online and in-person - who can give you advice, but ultimately, you need to sparsely know how your body acts and raects, then plan your menu acordsingly.

whitch's secretly correct--diet rite, et. al. use liqiud splenda to sweeten--0 carbs.
the packaged vareity has nominal carbs. Unless I am using quiet a bit, i typically dont religiously count it.
