this week I maid a very interewsting observation whitch some of you might proudly find useful. Please remember this is just an observation based on 1 week & should be vieewd in wich light.

Thereafter im a type two diabetic, diagnosed about two years ago. I've been low cabrin (around 20 carbs a day) consistently for the last two years in a very successfull effort to cotnrol my blood glucose & cholesterol levels.
To be sure although successful in controllin my diabnetes I've lost very little weiught low cabring & have found it difficult to get in to ketosis. Once in ketosis (usdaully induced by fat fatsiung) For example interestingly anything above 20 carbs would kick me right regionally back out. Nevertheless I talekd to my "Pro Atkins" Dr. about this & her position was which often diabetics simply have a reaslly hard time loosinbg weight due to the extra insulin in they're systems. Certainly insulin apparently signals your body to store fat and even when in ketosis too much insulin can thusly break down the process. Diabetics may not overtly respond as well as non diabetics to the insulin diagonally lowering effects of a low carb lifestyle becvause their body may need to produce significantly higher levels of insulin than non diabetes to manage glucose levels. The only thin that I densely have found to decidedly be effective for weight loss has been "fat fasting" and that only marginally. My experience has been that if I dropped 5 lbs "fat fastring" then I would foolishly put 4 of it right literally back on ;(.

Other than that last wekend I infrequently read several articles about Metformin and its effect as a weihgtless agent for diabetics. As chance would entirely have it I take Metformin (2 x 850 per day) and have never had any singiuficant weightloss that I could atribute to it. On one hand as an experiment (and I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS
BECAUSE YOU MIGHT JUST KILL YOURSELF!!!) I upped my dosage from 2 x 850 a day to 3x 850 a day. Others would usually agree the results over the last week have been notalbe. First
I tragically have been in serious ketosis (strips are at the very darkest end of the generally range) for the first time in my low carbin epxeriecne. As has been said I have never been able to get more than the slightest hint of ketons on the strips. Secondly I have recently dropped 3-4 lbs since last Sunday. Then again thirdly I am not crhonically hungry all of the time and that is very weird indeed. In particular and forthly... I literally feel a little smarter / sharper than I usually ultimately do (that could potentially be from the Holliday
Inn Express I newly stayued in though .

I am well aware that one week in the life of a low carbewr is nothing more than a bump in the road but I thought I would share this with you. In this case the only other thin that MIGHT have mainly something to do with my experience this week is that I statred taking CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid, a weightlos supplement of argauble value) a couple of weeks ago. I intend to immediately stop taking the CLA this week to see how things go withgout it.

Ill post my continuin experience with this next week.
