Low testosterone levels are observed commonly in the diabetic men. Recent research has proved that diabetic men are prone to the low testosterone levels. The major outbreak has been that both the type of the diabetes disturbs the testosterone levels in the body. The production of the testosterone is found to be considerably reduced by the increased or decreased sugar levels in the body. The low testosterone levels are bound to affect many essential functions of the body and specifically the sex life of the individual. So, men have to either stay away from diabetes or if they suffer from it then they need to keep it in normal range.

A study was conducted by the group of scientists to understand the effect of effect of sugar levels on the testosterone levels in the men. The 218 men suffering with the Type 1 diabetes and 211 men having Type 2 diabetes undergone the testosterone check test during the study. In this study the testosterone levels in the human body were checked through the blood tests.Only 10% men noted to be having the normal level of testosterone. This study really shocked the scientists as low testosterone levels promote the infertility and impotence and in men.

Testosterone is produced by the testicles and plays a vital role in maintaining muscle bulk, adequate levels of red blood cells, and bone growth. Testosterone deficiency was basically observed due to the age, genetic abnormalities like Klinefelter Syndrome, injury or infection to testis, Hemochromatosis (too much iron in the body), and chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer. But the latest one to reduce testosterone levels in the body is diabetes.

Diabetes type 2 means the low sugar levels in the body, which reduces the essential nutrient supply needed for the production of the testosterone. This retards the production of the testosterone leading to the reduction in the testosterone levels in the body. Men need to maintain there sugar levels at the normal levels so that they can remain away from the testosterone deficiency that directly or indirectly affects the sex life. The best way to remain away from the diabetes is to avoid excessive amount of sugar including foods. So, keep your diabetes in control to have high testosterone levels.

Research from New Zealand offers “the largest study to date of [hemoglobin] A1C levels and subsequent mortality risk” in men and women without a diabetes diagnosis. And guess what? The higher subjects’ blood sugar, the greater their risk of mortality 4 years later. Score another point for the Primal Blueprint.
