First, I think patience is important. That extra weight will eventually be off you if you do stick to your diet.
What you can try is change your habits. If you don't exercise, start now. If you do, change or blend in other kinds of exercise. Change the times of meals, exercise etc. The idea is to stick to the basic plan and play with its details. Don't let your body get stuck to a routine. Make your body guess.
