Omigooness!!! When you cheat you go all the way!!! LOL!

Well....

When you cheat like this, meaning on junk food and high fat high sugar items, what you most likely will trade in is 2 days with no weight loss. You may even gain a pound.

I tell my clients this, this diet is not very forgiving when it comes to cheating. Because of how restrictive it is, in my opinion, it's not worth it. However this is your body and your journey. You need to make these choices for yourself. You can still get right back into the groove.

Remember, nothing TASTES as good as losing weight FEELS!

You can do it. No condemnation here! Sometimes just knowing your the boss of your own body helps get you back in the right frame of mind to finish well in this Hcg journey.

The rewards are deelicious!

I, am on day 4 and I wasn't even hungry not even a little bit. I was making no bake cookies for my son and licked the size of a pencil head off my finger. I ate one cookie. Then decided that since I just ate one I might as well eat a total of 6. I truly think I have a screw loose.

Does this put me right back to day 1 or day 2?

Okay well, is day 1 for you during the VLCD or the load up days?

Hey Misty,

You seem to have alot of knowledge. I have been on the diet with the drops for 23 days. I have lost 17 pounds but have had to deal with 3 or 4 day stalls and 2 apple days resulting in only a pound loss the next day. Plain water is hard for me so I drink alot of Yerba Matte tea and other teas as well. I have 3 weeks to go and it is getting pretty hard. Some have told me it is ok to add a small amount of red onion to my lettuce. ??? Warning to all reading...someone also told me califlower was ok. Gained a pound and stalled for 4 days. DONT DO IT!
PS Is it true the drops need to be kept cold? Thanks

Hi SonShine,
Sorry to hear you fell off the wagon just a little but the best thing is you can get up, dust off and try it again. I did the HCG Diet with drops for 40 days and lost 42lbs. I worked the protocol, which I referenced as the HCG Bible, to the core. I did not defiate from the VLCD in any form. Discipline is very important for this diet to be a success. I understand you do not like water but I can assure you the more water you consume daily the better the loss on the scale the next day. Try using that one lemon we are allowed daily as your flavoring for water, and an enhancement for seasoning food items. Also, add a couple of packs of Stevia to your water for a nice glass of lemonade...lol Seriously though I did not allow any tea or coffee in my diet until I had consumed a gallon of water daily. I also exercised mildly (20 minute walk, 10 min strength training). As for mixing veggies Dr. Simeon said, "NO". He wrote it and he should know. I have been the motivation for my friends and co-workers to get up and get moving and so far they are all doing great and I am enjoying the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with them and the health food store I frequent. If you want to see my results go to YouTube and check out KarlaPatrice videos.

Good luck,

Karla

Hi Misty!

I was just reading blogs about you and thought maybe you could answer my question. My daughter and I have been on the HCG diet for a total of 21 days. We don't have a lot to lose (maybe 30 lbs. each). I've only lost 9 lbs., and my daughter has lost 12. Both of us hit a stall for 6 days with no explanation, and started losing again at a rate of .25 - .50 lbs. per day. Neither of us could bear to do an apple day as we both feel like we're deprived enough on the VLCD. I thought the HCG diet promised 1/2 - 1 lb. per day. Are we expecting too much? Any helpful suggestions for upping the rate at which we are losing?
