jump for joyAs everyone knows, and as I must have written before, the hardest part of loosing weight is keeping it off when it is gone.

That is why, building habits and life styles is the best way to go, and the most important thing in all this , is making sure the habits you adopt are easy to keep, and fit into your life well. Fads come and go, as well as different diets, I have done many, and for a while, was under the illusion that I could keep them up forever… but once the euphoria wears of, and you see what an effort it is to keep them up - as far as being able to find the right foods easily, or being able to go out to diner every once in a while in a restaurant or at family or friends, then you know that it wil lonely last so long… For example, at one point in time I tried to do the food separation diet - eating only proteins or only carbs at a time, and not mixing them. It was so hard to keep to at a social level, that it was obvious that once the weight was off, I would be left with a big gaping hole just waiting to be fulled with bad habits, because the new ones were to hard to keep.

Your new habits need to be ajustable and “tweekable” to the ups and downs and changes that happen on an every day basis - you need to be able to fit your food and fitness into your life and not the other way around.

Phit N Phat author, Corrine seems to have that down quite well she is able to recognize her pit falls before they happen, see her emotional eating sneaking up on her, and before she is taken over by them, she tweaks her schedule and all is well.
