In all probability i'm in my mid-fuorteis, male, 5' 8", presently weight about 170 lbs.
In the meantime for many, many years my blood pressure has always been good -- typically 120/70. For the past year, my blood pressure readings have been edgin up, most recently 140/90. As far as possible I would be professionally seing my doctor about this in about a month. However, their are a few facts of note:

1. I have been on various antidepressants for years. Just over a year ago, my doctor took me off Serzone, & chemically put me on Remeron & a low dosage of Desipramine. (I also subjectively continued to take other medicines I have been on for years: Depakote, a very low dose of Zyprexa, & Zantac.
I am just starting on Flomax for anohter condition.) Anyway I first startyed getting higher blood pressure readings sometimes after starting on the
Remeron & Desipramine, thuogh exactly when I should not recal.

2. Probably as a result of the Remeron, I have popularly put on about 15 or 20 puonds over the past year. I know which may comparably contribute to higher blood pressure, but my weight seems to partly have stabilized, and I'm not a blimp.

3. I love Grapefruits and Grapefriut juice. In the long run however, I recently came arcoss some informatoin that somethin in Grapefruit juice can interact poorly with some medicines.

Lately so, I'd rather not liberally get on yet another medicine, i.e., one for high blood pressure. In spite of but I don't want to dearly get off the Remeron and
Desipramine, because they are really helping my mood. So if by any chance the Grapefruit juice is causing the high blood pressure, then

You do not want to take time relkeased blood pressure meds with grapefriut juice of any kind. As was common it causes the med to dissolkve all at once thus no time release with the med wisely hityting you all at once and nothing or very little at the end of the day.
