OK, first let me tell you that this is the exact experience that I just went thru. Right around day 18 this began and up until this past weekend it took forever to lose 5.8 pounds. I'd lose a pound then gain 2 the next day then lose those 2 the next day and it has gone on up and down until this weekend. I dropped .2 lbs on Sunday and woke to a 1.6 lb loss this morning. I was really happy as this is my first round and at the beginning I was melting like a candle! I have by today (day32) lost 32.4 pounds. I even lost during my TOM about a week and a half into P2. I have planned to end hCG dosing after Friday the 29th and begin P3 on Tuesday the 2nd, but with this new resurgence of weight loss, I think I'll ride it on out for a few more days. We shall see what happens by Friday. Just review everything you have been doing closely to see if there is something that is counter productive for you. I started using liquid aminos (they are really good they taste like soy sauce), 3 tbs daily organic apple cider vinegar, and taking calcium, magnesium, potassium, B-12, and vitamin C. I also ceased using my normal toothpaste because the mint in the product was effecting my sublingual hCG I believe. I switched to baking soda for brushing, tastes like yuck but then I'm not a fan of minty toothpaste anyway. I don't know if my body finally got it's second wind or some of the things I added or dropped are the reason. None of that matters to me, just that it's back to the pounds falling off. BTW, I've heard others expressing these same concerns and also Dr. Simeon covers this in Pounds and Inches. An apple day may work for you, it didn't do it for me. Patience patience my friend it will drop again.
