Hi, I have been reading this diet manuscript by Dr. ATW Simeons of Italy. Basically the diet uses HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin hormone from pregnant women as injections or taken orally to release the abnormal fat sores in your body and you utilize those fat stores on top of your 500 calorie/day to lose weight. It is a very interesting manuscript and the more I read about it the more I am think that Dr. Bernstein might be following this protocol. By using the HCG injections you are not being starved by any means. I found this through reading the books and website of Kevin Trudeau at www.naturalcures.com It is indicated in the mansuscript that it is downright dangerous to follow a diet of 500 calories/day without the use of HCG injections. It is a long read but here is the link and if you are tired of sifting through the introduction part scroll down to the The Diencephalon or Hypothalamus section and read from there on how it works. Here is the link: http://www.hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Simeons-Pounds-and- Inches.htm By the way I do not work for thi Italian doctor nor for Dr. Bernstein, I am just person like everyone else who would like to lose some extra pounds without the use of pharmaceutical drugs etc.

Hi ckvchestnut, welcome to the forum

Who is Dr. Bernstein?

I honestly tell you that I am very suspicious of any 'help' through injections and ALWAYS prefer dieting the 'natural way', not by starving yourself with 500 calories a day, but by changing life-style and eating habits.

Hello,
I must speak out with regards to the hcg diet program that was intitially developed by Dr. Simeons. Renee, as everyone else I speak to, the first reaction is something more than mild rejection of the idea.

It is very common for people to be skeptical of any "too good to be true" type of program. That is EXACTLY what the hcg diet sounds like when first faced with it. Especially when it is disclosed that daily injections of a female pregnancy hormone is required.

I am scared of needles, I don't see any reason for anyone else to be not scared of them either! But...since it is so easy to attempt to discredit anything that is too good to be true...does that mean this program deserves an immediate dismissal?

Explore it more at www.hcg-diet-forums.com or www.youtube.com where you can see videos of real people discuss their experiences with whis diet.

For me, the proof is in the results of on vlogger from beginning to end. Go to either site above and watch the videos for yourself (obviously for free!)

No immediate dismissal. It's just caution. I am not dismissing nor approving this program. I just gave my personal opinion

ABOUT hCG ~ Here's the deal regarding weight loss. If you can lose weight by lowering your calories and moving more, than my advice to you is "just do it!" That is the normal way to lose weight and you really do not have an obesity problem you have an eating problem. However, if you have tried this (truly tried for about a month or more) and have not had any results, than you have a stalled metabolism. If there were a way to "unstall" your metabolism and start burning calories, most of America would not be obese. These supposedly educated nutrtionists/dieticians who think that the majority of people are fat just because we eat too much or are lazy, need to be educated. They are ignorant of what is really happening with our bodies. Most obese people are victims of toxicity and a stalled metabolism. For ex: I consumed 1250 calories and jogged 3 mi X 4 days a wk. for 6 weeks and lost nothing! Think there's a problem here? The hCG protocol was a godsend for me. I did a lot of research on it,(keep in mind, I am not willing to jeopardize my health either) and I found that Dr. Simeon's protocol, which has been in exsistance since the 1950s has never had an adverse reaction when used properly for weight loss. The amount of hCG injected is very minute, compared to what pregnant women biologically experience. I even know several men who have used this protocol with great success. In fact men lose more weight than women. There have been a few studies that attempted to disprove it's safety and effectiveness, but these studies were prooven to be inaccurately conducted and manipulated. The truth is, this protocol is not approved by the FDA, and because there is no money in it for them or the pharmaceutical companies it will never be approved because it's natural.

So my message is "OPEN YOUR MIND". If you have tried everything and you have an obesity problem, I would encourage you to do the research. Those who criticize it (and there are many on Amazon, re. Trudeau's book) are ignorant and have no basis for their criticism except fear of the unknown. I have yet to read a criticism from someone who actually followed the protocol and failed.

Now, for my results ~ I have been on this protocol for 28 days and have lost 17 lbs. so far. I went from a size 16 to a loose(ish) size 12.(a tight(ish) size 10) I have lost fat in the right places and my figure is symetrical. My intent is to do this protocol in several more rounds and lose 33 more lbs.for a total of 50 lbs. and a perfect size 4. I'm really greatful for this protocol, and haven't felt better. I wish you all much health and happiness, sometimes you have to get out of the box if you want answers.

MyTree, I understand there are risks involved in following this protocol? It is OK if you like to share your good results from following it but I think people should do some research and also find out about cases in where this has jeopardized health perhaps? Are there no such cases?

Also I would like to point out that a month long exercising and eating healthy isn't about to show results. This "protocol" (of exercising and eating healthy) is a life-style and that takes time for the body to get adjusted to. So, for people not looking for a "quick" way to lose weight but for a way to lose that weight forever - it still is best to go slowly, slowly... because that lasts the longest.

I am also doing this protocol. This is my 2nd time. The first time I lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks. Unfortunately I gained the weight back because I didn't finish phase 3 & 4 as outlined in Kevin Trudeau's book, The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You To Know About. I have friends that did it right after me and have maintained for over 1 year by finishing phase 3 and living following the principles in phase 4. It is a lifestyle and diet change if you want to keep the weight off. This time I have lost 21 pounds in 4 weeks so far and I am going to finish phase 3 & follow the principles in phase 4 to keep the weight off. It is not a starvation diet. The HCG releases plenty of calories into your blood stream, up to 2000 a day and you don't feel hungry at all. I feel great & I have tons of energy. I would not be feeling this way if I was truly only living off of 500 calories. It's very true, you would be hard pressed to find anything negative said about this diet by anyone who has actually done it and followed it correctly. It's very specific so you have to follow it exactly if you want the results. People love to criticize it when they don't have the chops to try it.

Katiepen, welcome to the forum. I have looked on the internet for this and indeed I cannot find negative comments about this diet. However to say that people who criticize it don't have the chops to try it is somewhat besides the point. It doesn't need courage to start a diet in where one quickly loses weight - everybody struggling with overweight can tell you that. I just don't think it is healthy to get injections when weight loss can be obtained by changing one's lifestyle. Slower, but still.

Those people that have health problems causing weight problems should get advise from their doctors how to address that issue. Perhaps the doctor could even advise this diet you mentioned.

Not everyone can easily lose weight by lifestyle alone. Everybody's body is different and it is oversimplifying to say just eat less and exercise more. People that have struggled for years are so tired of hearing that when they have tried over and over again and that has not worked for them.
For me personally I needed a more specific and yes very strict change, to remove completely the foods that cause me to eat out of control. I will not be adding those foods (ie sugar, processed food, white flour, etc.) back into my diet and I know from experience that I have a lot of peace around food when I don't allow those things into my food.
This diet is a permanent lifestyle change and if followed completely will be the last diet that you ever have to do. You absolutely have to have a permanent change in diet and include moderate exercise but it's a lot easier to eat well to maintain then endless months to lose.

Renee, with all due respect you are cautioning people about something you obviously know nothing about. The reason you cannot find negative comments about hCG and weight loss, is because there has never been any negative effects from this protocol. Dr. Simeon who wrote the book "Pounds and Inches" has done extensive research in the use of hCG and weight loss with great success. And just because you don't think it's healthy to get injections to lose weight, doesn't make it so. I suggest you read the book and do the research. Furthermore, lifestyle changes do not always work, and if you read my post on 06/06 you would understand what I am refering to. In fact I find your comment that "weight loss can be obtained by changing one's lifestyle" somewhat insulting. (duh...I wonder why I didn't think of that?) You are insinuating that all people will lose weight if they just eat less and move more. This is NOT true for everyone. In fact it is not true for most obese people. Obesity is caused by toxicity in the cellular structure and not because of eating too much or exercising too little. It's caused by the toxic food we eat, food shot with growth hormones, pesticides and all sorts of chemicals, particularly in processed and packaged foods which include loads of MSG and aspartame. Don't believe me? Again, I suggest you do the research. The reason I know this is because I have struggled with my weight for the last 20 years and I HAVE done the research.

Obesity is a very serious problem in our country. One that will not be solved by simple "lifestyle changes" like eat less and move more. It wasn't until I read about Dr. Simeon and started the hCG protocol that I had begun to lose weight. He explains exactly what is happening to our bodies and causing this obesity epidemic. Do you think obesity is not an epidemic in this country? Did you know the U.S. is the fattest nation in the world? Ya think it's our food supply? Also, it certainly does take a lot of courage to get out of the conventional box. I still maintain Katiepen is "right-on" when she stated that people who love to criticize typically don't have the guts to try it. (or even learn about it!) Those who are ignorant usually make the boldest derrogatory comments, typically based on their opinion and fear rather than fact.

You maintain that people with health problems causing weight problems should get advice from their doctors. Please don't make me laugh... The truth is, doctors know very little about nutrition. They only follow the parameters set up for them by the AMA and the FDA. The FDA is the same government agency that has approved the toxic junk we eat and meds that have killed people. If doctors had the answers, America would not be the fattest nation in the world. We have the most doctors in the world and we are the fattest in the world, go figure... The way I see it, putting your trust in doctors will only shorten your life. You might consider getting "out of the box" Renee.

Putting your trust in doctors shorten one's life? What doctors are you having then there in the US?
A doctor should always advise the best treatment while staying responsible for the potential side effects.

I can understand you are angry though and take my comments out of context. I know how frustrating it can be when overweight can't be solved with changing life styles. That's why I wrote one should see a doctor. But now it seems you have no trust in doctors.

Permit me to ask you whether you have seen your doctor lately (check up or anything else, but just so he saw the difference in your weight) - what did he say when you mentioned that diet to him?

I absolutely agree with MyTree about doctors. They have very little training in nutrition and natural alternatives. All of their training is in drugs and surgery which is a big part of the problem. We cannot achieve balance in the body with drugs and chemicals and most doctors are completley untrained about food allergies and the chemicals in foods which are causing a lot of the problems of obesity and the inability to lose weight.
For example, I started having acute excema symtoms 1 1/2 years ago. It started as a small spot on one hand then moved to cover both hands, then my legs, then my breasts and started up my chest and down my arms. Not only did I look like a leper but it was incredibly uncomfortable and itchy, I would scratch until I bled. I couldn't sleep and I was miserable. During this time I saw several doctors who had no idea what causes excema and just kept giving me steriod creams which are incredibly toxic and did nothing. Finally I saw a natural doctor who tested me for food allergies. I found out that I was allergic to dairy, soy, & peanuts. I have been off of those foods for 5 weeks and the excema is almost completely gone. Not one of the doctors that I saw ever suggested that it could be a food allergy and I suffered for 1 1/2 years because of their lack of knowledge.
Not that doctors ever want to admit that there is a lot that they don't know. So most doctors when asked about this therapy, even though they have no knowledge of it or have done any research at all, they will caution you aganist it and even say that it is dangerous again having absolutely no knowledge and there is not a piece of evidence out there to support saying that.

Renee,

Yes, I seriously believe that putting ALL your trust in doctors may shorten your life. No doctor is a better judge of what your body needs to thrive, than you are. I am typically supportive of naturopathic doctors since they attempt to treat the cause of illness rather than allopathic doctors (which are basic MDs) who typically treat the symptom. You are the moderator of this board and yet you have no profile. I don't know what country you are in, what your education is or what your credentials are but (forgive me) you strike me as naive, as it refers to health and nutrition in the U.S. I am not angrily taking your comments out of context, I have commented on what you wrote. Clearly you and I differ since you aparently trust the medical establishment that is currently in place (wherever you are) and I do not.

Are you familiar with the drug Vioxx? This was a drug that was approved by the FDA, (a U.S. governmental branch that is supposedly looking out for the American people) Several years ago, this drug was found to have killed thousands of people for many months, if not years. It was prescribed by physicians throughout the U.S. for arthritic pain until they were finally forced to pull it off the market. Merck, was the pharmaceutical company that produced this drug and they made 2.5 BILLION U.S. dollars touting this killer, until it was finally challenged. Renee I could go on forever about my experiences with the U.S. medical establishment, but with all due respect, and judging from your continued comments regarding doctors, I don't think your mind is open enough to hear (or believe) it.

You asked if I have seen a doctor lately. Yes, I am currently seeing a naturopathic physician who is over-seeing my hCG protocol. I am happy to say that she is happy with my weight loss, my vitals, my blood work and my energy level. I am looking better, feeling better and no longer depressed about my weight. Needless to say I am totally grateful for this protocol. I am also back to running 3 miles 4 X a week.

So... that being said, I am including some statistics below that may (or may not) shock you. If you are not American, you should know that two of the most prestigious medical avenues are the "U.S. Department of Health and Human Services" and JAMA, which is the "Journal of the American Medical Association". Below are statistics directly from these two governmental bodies that need to be known.

According to statistics provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, there is an interesting correlation between accidental deaths caused by guns and those caused by doctors.

Doctors: (A) There are 700,000 physicians in the U.S. ( Accidental deaths caused by physicians total 120,000 per year. (C) Accidental death percentage per physician is 0.171.

Guns: (A) There are 80 million gun owners in the U.S. ( There are 1,500 accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups. (C) The percentage of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.0000188.

Statistically, then, doctors are 9,000 times more dangerous to the public health than gun owners are.

Fact: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

also

This article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) is the best article I have ever seen written in the published literature documenting the tragedy of the traditional medical paradigm.

The author is Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She describes how the US health care system contributes to our poor health.

CONSIDER ALL THESE DEATHS PER YEAR:
* 12,000 -- unnecessary surgery
* 7,000 -- medication errors in hospitals
* 20,000 -- other errors in hospitals
* 80,000 -- infections in hospitals
* 106,000 -- non-error, negative effects of drugs

These totals equal 225,000 deaths per year by allopathic doctors in the U.S.

Any more questions Renee?

Just to illustrate how the hcg works and keeps you from being hungry...Last week was my 5th week. In Simeons original manuscript it says that after 5-6 weeks you will build a resistance to the hcg and it will stop working. You have to take 6 weeks off and then resume the shots with the diet. It also said that you will know when that happens and boy was that true.
Last Wednesday all day I started getting really hungry. I thought that was because I had worked out hard the day before. Then on Thursday I woke up starving, I tried to work through it, drank tea as usual but it kept getting worse until I was ravenous. Keep in mind that I have been on this diet for 5 weeks with little to no hunger. I finally realized that the hcg was not working anymore and I started phase 3 for 6 weeks and then I'll go back to the hcg. It definatley pointed out how well the hcg works to release plenty of calories to nourish you and keep you from starving because when it stopped working I was crazy starving.
So after 5 weeks I have lost 22 pounds but it looks like a lot more. My body is re-shaped. I have maintained my weight on phase 3 since last Thursday and I will resume the shots in 6 weeks to lose 20 more pounds.

Katiepen, then there is a huge difference in what doctors do between the U.S. and Israel (where I am located). One of the first things an Israeli doctor would do is send someone to have tests for allergies if a patient would come to him/her in your place as you described above. Well, perhaps not at the first visit when the eczema patch is tiny (because a lot of eczema also starts from using cleaning products) but most certainly when a prescribed cream or ointment doesn't solve the problem.

MyTree, yes - perhaps I am naive concerning doctors in the U.S. - after all I don't live there and thus have no experience with them. I did work for a huge international pharmaceutical company though here in Israel and found patient's health was being commercialized a lot and not always at a first interest level - that much is true. However they could never overstep the border of endangering patient's lives knowingly. That's why those clinical tests are performed.

And yes. Obviously I know of 'accidents' by medics. However where people are at work (and please don't forget that doctors are people as well and no robots) there are always accidents happening. That is a real shame since the confidence factor is involved here, but here, in Israel, you will have to sign papers warning you of all risks that certain treatments (including surgery) can bring with them and that you are fully aware of them and accept them. So, in the end, it is up to 'you' whether you accept treatment.

Katiepen, I am happy to hear this is working for you. I never stated otherwise. Still I am also happy you are under observation of a doctor (doesn't matter what his specialty is) because I keep finding giving injections (with whatever) something not to be taken lightly as you both make it out to be. I am (again) sorry about that, but that is how I feel

Just updating-
I've been in phase 3 now for 3 1/2 weeks now. In this phase you are supposed to maintain your weight but not lose. I am eating whenever I'm hungry, normal amounts of food as long as it's healthy and organic but you're not allowed to have any sugar or starch. I have had no trouble maintaining my weight. As we all know if I had been on a starvation diet then as soon as I stopped eating the 500 calories then I would have rapidly gained the weight back, this has not happened at all, my weight is very steady.
I will do another round of shots in 3 more weeks and lose the last 20 pounds. Then 3 more weeks of no sugar and starch and then my hypothymus will be reset and I will move on to phase 4, the lifetime phase which is basically don't mess up what you just fixed so eat organic, fresh food. No fast food, chain restaurants, processed foods, chemicals,msg, artifical sweetners, etc... pretty simple, just eat real food.
I'll update how my last phase goes and I wish good luck to anyone considering this protocol, I can't possibly say enough good about it!

Hi Renee
I used to love fast food, especially french fries, well basically anything fried. But when you truly learn the truth about this so called "food" and what they are doing to it (chain restaurants are just as bad) to make it addiciting and to cause us to gain weight you will never look at it the the same way again. Have you seen the movie Supersize Me & Fast Food Nation? These are great movies for understanding how these restaurants are adding to the obesity problem and how badly it is affecting our bodies. Once I fully understood the truth then I just never see it as on option, I don't even look at it as food (I'm the same way with sodas)and it's just not ever okay, not even once in a while. It's not worth the collateral damage it causes! I've worked too hard to lose weight and to be healthy!

Right on katiepen, I totally agree. Once you try Dr. Simeon's protocol, you never look at food the same way again. Unfortunately most people never change their diets long enough to find that out though. I know I would dabble with healthy eating for a few days or even a week or two, and even though I felt better, I always went back to my old ways. Why is that? Because the processed, packaged, toxic food tastes so good, and the reason it tastes so good is because it is full of excitotoxins, MSG, sodium, and flavorful additives that are not only toxic chemicals but keep a person hooked. Add to that the convenience of opening a can, a jar, a box or a package and having a meal in minutes. Just reading the ingredients on any processed package (or can) of food and you have to wonder what we're "really" eating. I can't even pronounce half the ingrediets they put in processed food, but I've been eating it (like everyone else) for a lot of years, assuming and trusting that it must be safe. But it is not safe! Those additives are toxic and cause illness and obesity. Over the years those additives play havoc with our bodies and cellulure system.(and we wonder why we are fatter and more cancer than ever before) The food manufacturers put that stuff in food because of shelf-life, convenience, and speed (fast food syndrome) but mostly BIG $$, not because it is healthy or good for us. It may taste good but make no mistake, processed food is NOT good for us.

I have spent a lot of time and energy over the years looking for answers, attempting to learn what healthy eating really is. There are so many opinions that differ, even in the alternative and natural health fields. Meat or vegetarian? Raw or cooked? Different carb/protein/fat ratios. Organic or basic. Vitamins or not. What is the truth? Well, because every body is different there is no one truth except for this: If our Maker (God, Divine Source, whatever you chose to call our Maker) didn't make it, DO NOT EAT IT! If it comes in a package, box, jar or can, God did not make it, therefore it has been altered. I'm not a religious person but it simply makes sense that the food that nourishes our bodies and gives us sustenance should be in it's natural form from our planet. Our food supply should not come in a box, can, jar or package.

I personally choose to eat animal protein, but I buy clean meat (no antibiotics or hormones) I choose to eat organic vegetables (and still wonder why most people think pesticides are ok...) I limit starches (even natural ones, like potatoes and carrots) even though some are very healthy, I tend to gain weight from them. Sugar is the biggest offender for me, so I sweeten my tea and other foods with a high grade, great tasting stevia. I make my own salad dressing with fresh ingredients and it tastes so much better than commercial dressings.

Here's the truth about eating this way. Eating this way is more work. A lot more work. It's not at all convenient, it's not fast, in fact sometimes it's a pain to prepare, especially if I'm pressed for time or I've waited too long between meals and I'm starving. Without a doubt, it costs more money, but seriously, can you think of a better place to spend your money than on your health? It's deffinitely a committment, and not easy to do. But the truth is ~ EVERYTHING we do, without exception, is due to habit and conditioning. It takes energy but new habits can be formed. Many times it would be much easier to add water and have a cup of noodles in 3 minutes. But I'm on a roll...I'm creating new habits in my life and the reward is I look and feel so much better...

Ok, I'm stepping off my soap box...

Thanks MyTree! It's always so wonderful to hear other people talking about the truth about food, obesity, and the way to true health.
I agree with you, sometimes it's a pain to cook and eat whole foods but the payout is beyond worth it! It just takes a little more planning and you're right, it becomes habit. Why do we think that it's okay to be too busy to take care of ourselves? What is the point of working and paying bills and a mortgage if we feel terrible all the time. I think that most people feel awful most of the time but don't even know it because that is normal to them. That's how they have always felt.
And I know that life is busy with children but what better lesson can we teach our children then that we are important and they are important enough to take the time for good health, not driving through a drive thru and filling them up with chemicals because we just don't have the time for them. The lessons that they are learning now they will take into their lives, do we want them to have a healthy life or the lives we've had struggling with weight and feeling terrible most of the time. Think about that the next time that you go through a drive thru or pop dinner into a microwave.

And I thank you too katiepen! You know I ask myself why is it people don't make changes when it comes to their health? (unfortunately this included me for most of my life) What comes to my mind are actually two reasons.

The first is denial. Even when people do make an effort to learn about healthy eating and living, they are too adherent and addicted to their present way of life. They are very comfortable with their lifestyle and therefore deny the importance of dietary changes. At this very moment they are functioning normally, and appear healthy. When they have a physical, their blood work is normal, and so they think all is well. What they fail to realize is that, major illness and disease doesn't happen over night. It's an accumulation of many (and sometines not so many) years of poor eating and bad health habits. Then one day they may be diagnosed with a disease and they are devastated. The problem is when everything appears ok, and your life is working, the denial kicks in (this will never happen to me) and when things appear normal, there isn't enough motivation to make changes. It's only when our life falls apart that we scramble to turn things around. It's kind of like alcholism. ie. it's only when the drinker's life falls apart that they become willing to seek help and make changes. Have you ever tried to convince a functioning alcoholic who is in denial that they have a problem? They simply don't believe you no matter what you say. They are in "denial" and nothing will change them until they make an effort to look at the truth, or a crisis happens.

I believe the second reason people don't want to change is because they trust the FDA and our government. The majority of people think that if it's in the supermarket, it must be ok. If it's approved by the FDA it won't hurt you. But as you and I both know, that's so untrue. Our food, otc drugs, Rx drugs, can be toxic and life altering. We want our government to be responsible for what we eat, and the truth is, our government is into $$$$ making profits. They took a poll and it's interesting that the majority of Americans think the FDA would never approve a food or drug that would harm us. Ha! Wrong again... (Can you say Vioxx?) In my opinion, this is DENIAL at it's core. If our government says it's ok, it must be so... Really? Unfortunately, we have turned into a nation of sheep. Bahhhhh People have got to take responsibility for what they put into their bodies, and stop allowing the FDA and the fast food industry from calling the shots. There's an old computer acronym GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) I rest my case.

You are so right. I was reading your post and I was thinking yep, people are sheep and then the next sentence you wrote said the same thing. We all have to take responsibility and educate ourselves. We can't trust the status quo or our government to do it for us. We have to stand up and say that we won't accept this anymore.
Does anyone know that the government is allowing food companies to put msg in your food and call it "natural flavors", even when it's an organic food. They are forcing a toxic drug(yep folks msg is a drug not a flavor enhancer, it actually tricks the brain into thinking that something tastes good) even when people are trying to eat healthy the food companies and the government is tricking us into eating addicting chemicals. Why would they do this? MyTree said it, it's $$$$$$. The food companies can make cheap food not only taste good but it also makes it addicting and the goverment is taking payouts from the food companies. This equals big bucks for them and obesity and disease for us.

I know that we sound a little like crazy conspiracy theory people, and I wish that was all it was but I am a perfectly normal 40 year old woman with a successful business. I've just chosen to educate myself about what is going on and I would suggest that anyone out there who wants to truly be not only a healthy weight but not end up with cancer or some other debilitating disease, start educating yourselves about our food supply. Things will change when we stand up and start saying that we won't support this anymore. Money talks and when we refuse to buy their tainted food things will start to change.

I've read most of the online things about Dr. Simeon's HCG Protocol. However, I haven't come across the actual phases. Can anyone recommend a website that lists the phases, how long they are, what you do during each of them...or a book to read (rather do it online)

Hi Critters
Kevin Trudeau's book The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You To Know About. It elaborates on Dr. Simeon's original cure. I highly recommend reading it start to finish before starting the protocol. It's an easy read. Good Luck!
