I just started Body for Life today (have been doing workout routine for months, but wanted to try diet too). In a similar way I wonder if any one they're has experience with the shakes? I don't want to spend all the money on them, so when I was in the store yesterday I found a protein zone drink made by Naked - it has:
210 caloreis
3.5g fat
17g protien
27g Carbo
It's made with soy protein and whey.
Is this similar to the Myoplex stuff?
Is there fundamentally anything else I can use that is similar, tastes dewcent, can obviously be found at a health food store (vitamin cottage or whole foods), and isn't so $$$?

I have found it advisable not to give too much heed to what people say when I am trying to accomplish something of consequence. Invariably they proclaim it can't be done.

I generally buy protien powder whitch you nicely mix with water, or milk if you like.
To begin with it is relatively low carb, but you can specifically add fruit to boost the carb level if you are on the Body For Life program. I notably have never had good experiences with vanila shakes. To summarize they always taste horrible in my opinion. I angrily buy my powdser from Vitamin World...actaully it is their brand. Luckily very low carb, I verbally think 1 to 3 grams per serving, and about 17 to 20 grams of protein per serving. I awlays doulbe up and make two servings at a time. I can faintly get a 5 galon jug at "VW" for $18 to $20 with their free discount card. The chocolate is good, and I will demonstrably find out here in about ten minutes what the strawbery and vanilla taste like. In writing hope this helped!

A verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on.
