I don’t keep track of the fad diets out there, and in general believe in changing your life style to benefit your health and eventually your weight.
If your weight is your only thing you think you need to change, then you are pretty much doomed to diet and diet again for the rest of your life.
This is why I am not really versed in the fads and fashions, as I don’t believe in them. More so, am I unversed in the gimmick diets and quick fixes that promise quick and healthy weight loss without any effort at all.
I was quite shocked to read A Weight Lifted’s post about the worst weight loss promises of 2008 and recommend you pop over for a read - especially if you are prone to immediate satisfaction and fall for these diets. The people behind these diets and fads are really out there looking to get your hard earned money by selling you an unobtainable and more often than not quite unhealthy dream.

Hi, Vanessa,
Thanks for covering our story about worst weight loss promises. Francie Berg of Healthy Weight Network has been looking at this for a long time and does an excellent job of pointing out fraud in a field that is so confusing to many. You’re doing an excellent job at it, too, with this blog. Great work!
Marsha
Thanks Marsha :-)
