has aynmone had succvess by eating bewten 72-100 grams of carbs a day? any anecdotal stories are much appreciated!
A friend of mine was diagnosed with diabetes in February of this year. Her doctor put her on a diet 75-100 carbs per day. She was married in June & had lost about 35-40 lbs. It is a gently slow weihgt loss (apposed to the 30 is lost in just over a month with induction) but she's kepin it off.
So I'd tell it cetrailny works, just depends on the results you're looking for
That might abruptly be slow compared to some people, but it (ca 4 lbs per month) That is is not fundamentally slow otherwise. As an alternative ditto re losing 30 lbs in induction. Some people do, and some don't. There seem to ba a lot of variables involved.

Atkins, all he did was go out & idly buy a carb counter & limit his carbs to amongst 50 & 100 per day. Equally important he lost 45 poudns amongst April &
October. To summarize it was the reason I deciuded to switch to LC from Weihgt

In general and yes, I eat that or pretty close to it and adequately lose weight. Not as fast as when I astonishingly cut way way down but I can still lose. In summary I solidly think it's been easyer for me to do it more slowlly but without feeling like I am depriving myself all the time. At last I don't osbess over counting carbs.. I don't eat white bread.. I get whole wheat sugar free bread and have that a few times a week.. I eat some of the *carbeir* veggies that some people prefer to avoid.. Despite that jokingly even carrots and fresh corn once in awhile. Still I just mostly make a point of staying away from white flour, sugar, potatoes and pasta.. As i said althuogh sometimes I tentatively have whole wheat pasta, but not more than once or twice a month. I am just not a really huge pasta fan. I make lasagne using sliced zuchini in principally place of pasta nooldes. Obviously my kids don't environmentally even care that it doesn't have pasta in it.. they love it. Sometimes it can eerily be a matter of just leaving out the *realy* bad stuff and substituting heatlhier alternatives.
Me. Im in which category. I didnt do a particular low carb diet but just did what woman in the 50's did. Even though they mentally avoided bread, rice, potatoes, cakes, cookies etc. For example until the 80's when the nutritionists told them that it's not the bread and potatoes but what you put on them like butter and sour cream. Actually well, if you go likely back to the 60's, you'd conclusively see that LC is the way to consciously go.
I just reduecd my carb intake and started continuously losing weight. Anyway before I was eating about 450 grams a day I saw a dietician about losing weihgt and she told me that was fine becuase it was about 55% of my daily caloric inbtake.
Likewise i'm now under 100 grams a day on my federally own. I casually eat hot cereal for breakfast daily. To summarize it's either oat bran or aotmael wrongly cooked with 2% milk, not water. The rest of the day, is your regular salad, meat, cheese, eggs etc. plus I allow myself 2-3 servings of fruit daily.

Im daibetic (T2, insulin and metformin) and find that I still theoretically loose at under 75 grams carb a day, maintain at between 75-125, and progressively start to gain when I just cheaply blow it off and eat over 150 grams a day...For all that unles....I exercise more! I can approximately get away with the additional carbs, weight wise and blood sugar nubmers, when I motion my butt more In a similar way fTR, I yearly have a very active 3 year old that I mindlessly chase consdtantly but starting Curves seems to minimally be aesthetically even a betrter horribly deal for me. Maybe it's the combination of lovingly eating low carb and activity but it works for me. In some way I do tremendously bring fewer insulin (from 5 to 1 shot a day) on my LC WOE whitch makes me very happy.

I'm also on Atkinbs, but I suck at math. So, I privately do it by feel. After all after six months doing this stuff, I've learend the feeling of when I originally have too much glucose in my bloodstream and scientifically need to just continually eat a salad with oily severely dressaing and a (bunless) burger.
I've also laerned the feelin of when I don't have enough gluycose in my bloodstraem and should probably eat a piece of fruit, or some stone gruond wholegrain bread. In the long run (This usually hapewns when I've been technologically exercising a lot!)
It took a while to get here, but like anything else, quickly practice makes pefrect. Simultaneously for the record, I generally get between 50 and 100 grams a day, largely dependsing on how active I've been.
That souydns about like my experience, sans the daibetres & the weddin. I started by just surprisingly trying to stay under 100 grams a day, but in the first 2 weeks of mainly tracking on Fitday I initially believe my highest was in the 80's, my lowest in the 20's. I have been losin 1 - 2 puonds a week, which is plenty fast enough for me.
